Description Medical Assistant - Gastroenterology Practice Join our dedicated gastroenterology team as a Medical Assistant in our Enfield and South Windsor offices, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Key Responsibilities: - Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures - Prepare patients for appointments, including taking vital signs and medical histories - Document patient information accurately in electronic health records - Ensure clinical areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies - Provide patient education and answer basic questions regarding procedures and treatments - Support administrative tasks such as scheduling and follow-up communications This position offers a supportive work environment with a 4:30 PM. We are committed to fostering a positive workplace culture Monday through Friday schedule, with Thursdays off, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 pm that encourages professional development and work-life balance.
