JOB DESCRIPTION: MEDICAL ASSISTANT/QUALIFIED MEDICATION AIDE LOCATION: OLDENBURG, IN, 47036 JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant/Qualified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team in Oldenburg, IN. We are currently hiring for our 2nd shift which is 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM and a $.50 shift differential is available for this shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care and administering medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Pay is negotiable based on experience, starting pay is $17.00/hour. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist healthcare professionals with patient care tasks including working as a CNA as needed (pay is not affected) * Administer medications to patients as prescribed * Monitor and record patient vital signs * Assist with medical procedures as needed * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records * Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent * Completion of a Medical Assistant or Medication Aide training program * Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
