May dispense medicines, give inoculations and performed minor surgery such as lancing and draining local infection. 3. Admits patients and arranges for seriously ill cases to be transferred to the Government hospital when necessary. 4. Arrange for patients’ diet and account for them. Prepare and maintains standard records and accounts. 5. Prepares medical requisitions and accounts for the receipts and issue of drugs and medicines. 6. Participates in preventive health program. 7. Reports on workmen’s compensation/SOCSO cases. 8. Reports on workmen's compensation/SOCSO cases. 9. Give first aid treatment in emergencies. 10. Performed such other statutory duties as may be required under the Labour Code or any other law. 11. Trained effectively on the effects of poisons to assist in protecting the health of all employees exposed to poison. 12. Continuous medical health surveillance must be carried out. 13. Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 14. Ensure agrochemical are used in a way that does not endanger health or the environment (RSPO Criterion 4.6) 15. Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant will examine and treat minor ailments, dispense medicines, and perform minor surgeries. They will also manage patient admissions, dietary arrangements, and participate in preventive health programs.
