About the role This is a non clinical, remote healthcare role that is well suited for individuals who want meaningful work and real exposure to healthcare operations. You will speak directly with patients, collect and organize medical histories, and help ensure medical records are accurate and complete. The work is structured, repeatable, and supported by templates and training. What you will do Conduct outbound calls with patients (in English and Spanish) to gather detailed medical and injury histories Listen actively and document information with a high level of accuracy using structured templates and internal systems Review medical records for completeness, clarity, and internal consistency Organize and standardize medical information to meet quality and documentation standards Ensure patient histories are thorough, consistent, and easy for physicians to interpret Review your work carefully to maintain a high standard of accuracy Follow established workflows and documentation protocols Partner with the operations team to continuously improve processes and quality You might be a good fit if you Enjoy focused, detail-oriented work and take pride in precision Are comfortable engaging in thoughtful, sometimes extended conversations with patients Can remain calm, empathetic, and professional during sensitive or challenging discussions Are dependable and able to manage your time independently Thrive in structured environments and follow processes consistently Are interested in gaining exposure to healthcare—especially if you are pre-med, studying public health, nursing, or exploring a career in healthcare Nice to have but not required Previous experience in medical scribing or healthcare administrative roles A strong interest in healthcare, medicine, or operations Comfort learning and working with new software and tools Role details Clear responsibilities, expectations, and performance metrics Remote schedule Fluency in Spanish is required Structured onboarding and training provided Two weeks of in-person onboarding required at our San Mateo or Los Angeles location Hourly and salary positions available
