Spectrum Dermatology of Seattle is a growing Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology practice. As our patient base expands, we are excited to welcome another Medical Assistant to our team, to contribute to the comfort and success of each patient experience.
Job Description Summary

The Medical Assistant, MA role contributes to the efficiency of the back-office workflow and overall patient care. Our MA’s daily tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Initiate patient visits via our electronic health record system (EMA)
  • Collect, document, and update patient medical/surgical/family history/medications/allergies
  • Prepare patient and room for exam and minor surgery I.e., excision/biopsy/ED&C and assists during procedures
  • Prepare patient and room for cosmetic procedures I.e., laser and/or injections and assists during procedures
  • Basic scribing for providers
  • Communicate with patients regarding test results, pre/post care, Rx concerns
  • Transmit path and lab orders
  • Process prescription fill/refill
  • Maintain patient exam rooms and sterile field

Desired qualifications:

  • Washington State MA certification
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Medical assisting 1 plus years (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
