POSITION DETAILS: Job Title: Medical Assistant Practice: Sports, Spine & Regenerative Medicine, PM&R and Pain Medicine; Dustin Anderson MD Status: This is a full-time, year-round position Classification: Non-Exempt - Hourly Location: This position is primarily based at our Basalt Clinic location requiring frequent travel to our Aspen location. Travel to other locations may be necessary on an occasional basis. Schedule: Monday - Friday Pay Range: $22 - 25/hr DOE MEDICAL ASSISTANT OVERVIEW: The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting our providers and enhancing patient care. You'll assist with patient interactions, maintain accurate medical records, and handle administrative tasks, including scribing, to ensure smooth operations. We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our busy team, where your contributions will directly impact the quality of care we provide. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Fields patient phone calls promptly and in a professional manner. Assists with administrative tasks as directed by the Practice Coordinator. Assists provider and PA/ATC with clinical operations. Available to room patients, remove sutures, and prepare patients for scheduled clinical procedures. Completes shift opening and closing procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN or RN licensing/certification, preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties preferred. Demonstrated problem solving and workflow management skills required. Must maintain a professional attitude towards patients and an excellent and collegial working relationship with other Steadman Clinic and hospital personnel in involved in patient care. Excellent critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and manage time effectively. Computer and EHR software proficiency.
