We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing Pain & Spine Clinic team. The Medical Assistant will support providers and patients by performing both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced specialty clinic. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive first impression for patients. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for consultations. Take vital signs and record patient information accurately. Assist in managing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments. Administrative Duties: Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Establish and maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients and their representatives, managers, providers, other clinic staff, outside agencies, and the public. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 or more years of experience in healthcare environment. Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic medical procedures and terminology. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus. CPR certification may be required. Work Schedule: Typically, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Schedule is set by the Clinic Manager.
