You’ll play a vital role in both clinical and administrative functions, assisting patients and providers across our clinics and rehab department with occasional travel required. In this role, there is opportunity to - Organize daily schedules and manage patient flow efficiently. Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with mobility, transfers, and preparation for exams. Collect patient histories, take vitals, and perform screenings per provider guidelines. Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and equipment; maintain cleanliness and infection control standards. Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic lab tests; assist providers with procedures. Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records. Coordinate front-office tasks: schedule appointments, verify insurance, and manage charts. Communicate with patients and families, providing instructions and education as directed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards; maintain confidentiality. Administer injectable medications and vaccines under physician supervision. Required High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
