Description Job Summary This position is assigned to work in both the front and back office of the clinic. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-past environment while providing excellent care for our patients. Back Office Duties Conducting blood draws, non-stress tests, injections and completing vitals. Assisting in procedural set-ups such Amniocentesis, Cerclage Removal, Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS). Scheduling surgeries with local hospitals, verifying times with patients and providers. Responding to portal messages between patient and provider Patient intake and vital Clean and set up exam rooms Chaperone exams Chart Preparation Follow up on labs and specimen collection results Front Office Duties Welcoming patients by greeting them, in person or on the phone, answering and directing inquiries from patients and referring providers. Registering, scheduling, and confirming appointments. Verifying patient demographic information and update as needed Collecting co-pay and past due balances Requirements Required Skills: Excellent Customer Service MA Certificate Patience and Empathy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Education: High School Diploma or GED Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program Associates degree preferred Minimum 3 years required, with OB/GYN preferred Experience with EMR system, Athena knowledge a plus
