Position Summary The role of the Medical Assistant reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for assisting the nurse and front office with day-to-day duties. Essential Job Responsibilities Obtain patient vitals and input data into the electronic medical records system Perform any necessary CLIA-waive tests Clean room after patient use Ensure exam rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies Appropriately process soiled instruments Assist front desk with daily operations, as needed Qualifications Education: High School diploma or GED Licensure and Certifications: CPR, required. Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a previous medical assistant role, preferred. Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 pounds. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. Qualifications

Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant will assist the nurse and front office with daily duties, including obtaining patient vitals and managing exam rooms. Responsibilities also include performing CLIA-waived tests and supporting front desk operations as needed.
