Description Northside Urgent Care has been proudly providing top-ranked patient care to Greater Atlanta communities since 2016. Medical Assistants are critical to the success of our clinical teams and crucial to providing fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare at our seven Northside Urgent Care centers. Northside offers state-of-the-art onsite digital X-ray, EKG, and common laboratory assays. Our centers are open 7 days per week, 8AM - 8PM. Job Description Learn and practice advanced skills under the direction of our providers. You are trained and trusted with a wider scope of practice including injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and orthopedic care. Triage patients, take vital signs, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care. Apply splints and wound dressings, collect and record the results of various laboratory tests, administer oral and injectable medications. Perform radiology imaging procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending provider. Operate diagnostic equipment and process all X-ray orders. Make a difference in our patients' lives every shift.
