Position Summary The Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician will play a key role in supporting our podiatrists by assisting with clinical tasks, performing digital X-rays, and ensuring an excellent patient experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures Take and record vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Perform digital X-rays in accordance with state and federal regulations Assist the podiatrist during examinations and minor procedures Handle patient education, wound care, and dressing changes as directed Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage inventory Enter documentation and orders accurately in the EMR system Schedule follow-ups and coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth patient flow Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental Insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Requirements Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) – required Current and valid X-Ray Technician license/certification – required Previous experience in podiatry, orthopedics, or a similar specialty – preferred Strong communication and patient service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting EMR experience (preferred: eClinicalWorks)
