Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assisting courses. The typical teaching load is 1-2 courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.  Qualifications * * Diploma/Degree required * Certification in Medical Assisting * At least three years of experience in the field of Medical Assisting * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Highly organized, motivated and results driven * Prior teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is teaching Medical Assisting courses, typically 1-2 courses each term. The faculty member will also provide academic advising and participate in department activities like training, meetings, and graduation.
