Sun Country Medical is a locally owned and growing DME company dedicated to providing exceptional medical equipment and service to our patients and healthcare partners. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical billing experience preferred (DME background a plus, but willing to train the right candidate).
• Basic knowledge of insurance billing, HCPCS codes, and modifiers helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Computer skills (billing software and Microsoft Office).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Prepare and submit clean claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers.
• Verify insurance coverage and authorization requirements for DME services.
• Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals in a timely manner.
• Post payments and reconcile accounts.
• Communicate with patients, payers, and internal staff to resolve billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and insurance guidelines.
