Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing Analyst to join our Orthopaedic practice full-time, working on-site Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and experience in handling electronic remittance, payment posting, and managing fee schedules. This role involves supporting coding and charge capture for orthopaedics, as well as physical and occupational therapy services. Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is essential to ensure accurate and efficient billing practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably in an orthopaedic or multi-specialty setting.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems and billing software (e.g., Epic, Athena, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of coding guidelines, charge capture, and denials management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
