Description

Industrial Medical Clinic located 5 minutes south from the Ontario Airport is seeking a FULL OR PART-TIME dependable and committed Billing Coordinators whose primary responsibility will be Medical Billing and Accounts Receivable Coordination.
Medical billing duties include Data entry of superbills, EOB Review & adjustments, follow-up with Payors for payment details, and submission of bills and appeals for payment. Front office duties including scanning, answering phones, data entry, and filing. We are a fast paced medical office looking for a committed individual with at least 1 year of medical billing experience. You must be professional and highly organized with exceptional customer service.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Billing: create/distribute invoices and process payments
  • AR Review/Collections: conduct AR Review of Open accounts and address past due payments by calling Insurance Carriers and/or financially responsible party
  • Answering phones/emails/text pertaining to billing inquiries and payor requests for updates on active injured workers
  • Insurance eligibility verification and assisting front office with co-pay collection
  • Front Office back up - Checking-in and greeting clients
  • Schedule appointments and follow up with clients via Phone, Email, and In-Person
  • Handle all of the administrative duties assigned by Administrator/Office Manager
  • Performs general administrative duties such as typing, filing, organizing, and data-entry
  • Perform other special projects and duties as required

Qualified Candidate preferred skills include:

  • The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal/communication skills, exceptional organizational skills, flexibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual Spanish as plus!
  • Excel knowledge
  • Must have strong ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
