Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

JXH Billing LLC, a fast-growing, service-disabled veteran–owned revenue cycle company, is seeking a Senior Billing Manager to help lead and scale our one-year-old billing operation into its next phase of national expansion.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of full revenue cycle experience — from onboarding providers into platforms like Waystar, to workflow implementation, AR oversight, denial resolution, and revenue realization. You’ll work directly with the executive team and billing leadership to optimize processes, lead account strategy, and build a team structure for scale.
This role is perfect for someone who’s been in the billing trenches, understands how to align billing with compliance and collections, and is now ready to take ownership over a dynamic and expanding billing team.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end RCM workflows across multiple specialties (wound care, primary care, surgical, etc.)
  • Onboard new providers and groups into Waystar (or other RCM platforms) and guide setup from NPI to go-live
  • Collaborate with VP of Billing Operations, Recovery, Credentialing, and Sales teams to ensure seamless client handoff
  • Monitor and report on revenue flow, days in AR, claim rejections, and clean claim rates
  • Manage multiple accounts with varying payer mixes and documentation requirements
  • Implement and refine SOPs for coding, billing, payment posting, and denial management
  • Assist with staff training, audits, and internal workflow improvements as we scale
  • Help design the structure of the billing department (team leads, billers, etc.)
