MEDICAL BILLER – TMJ & SLEEP APNEA SPECIALTY

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller with strong knowledge of TMJ and sleep apnea-related medical and dental billing. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about ensuring accurate claims processing in a specialty practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years of medical/dental billing experience (TMJ and sleep apnea billing strongly preferred).
• Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes relevant to oral appliances, TMJ therapy, and sleep medicine.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and prior authorization processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Accurately process and submit medical insurance claims for TMJ and sleep apnea treatments.
• Verify patient benefits and eligibility, with emphasis on oral appliance therapy, TMJ therapy, and sleep-related services.
• Handle pre-authorizations, claim follow-ups, denials in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and internal clinical team.
• Maintain accurate billing records and patient accounts.
• Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and practice policies.
