The PT Center for Sports Medicineis a fast-paced physical therapy office that is looking for an energetic/ friendly Medical Billing Specialist to add to our winning Team. Candidate must be an outgoing “PEOPLE PERSON” who is energetic and able to multi-task. Previous Medical Billing experience is required.
Candidate must be self-motivated, hard-working and able to communicate well with other staff members, patients and referring doctor’s offices. Must be extremely detail oriented and able to juggle numerous tasks at one time while still being accurate. Relaxed, friendly, family atmosphere, but productivity is expected.

• Detail oriented.
• Fast and accurate with data entry.
• Must have previous experience with: Workers’ Compensation, Medicare, Auto insurance, as well as general commercial insurances.
• Must equally be comfortable working alone as well as with other staff members.
• Must be able to communicate well with other staff members, referring physicians and patients.
• Must be able to answer patient questions regarding their insurance coverage, insurance restrictions as well as general questions regarding their account.
• At times, must be willing to sit at the Front Desk and Greet and Schedule patients.
• Collect Co-pays and Deductibles from patients.
• Insurance verification.
