Description Now Hiring: Full-Time Medical Call Center & Patient Service Representative Join our growing ophthalmology practice and play a key role in both our call center and front desk operations! We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team in a dual-role position. This person will primarily support our Call Center and be cross-trained as a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to provide coverage and support across our four metro Milwaukee clinic locations. Travel Requirement: Must be flexible and willing to travel between all four Milwaukee-area offices. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Call Center Duties: Answer and place calls using a multi-line phone system Schedule appointments and manage follow-up calls Screen, route, and transfer calls; take accurate messages Provide basic clinic and appointment information to patients Enter and update patient demographic and insurance information Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Patient Service Representative Duties: Greet and register patients at the front desk Verify insurance and collect co-pays Post payments and balance daily batches Assist with appointment check-in and check-out Support coverage at clinic front desks as needed Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of call center, receptionist, or customer service experience—medical setting preferred Strong appointment scheduling skills with attention to accuracy Proficient with Windows-based systems and basic office equipment Strong verbal and written communication skills Understanding of insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations is a plus Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work both independently and collaboratively Benefits: Competitive pay Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and more) Supportive team environment Opportunities for cross-training and growth
