  • Is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing accurate work
  • Enjoys working with a team but can also stay focused and productive independently
  • Wants a long-term career in a growing industry
  • Is currently taking classes in healthcare, administration, or billing (a plus, but not required!)
  • Has a high school diploma or GE

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting healthcare clients across the U.S. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary resource for printing and mailing secondary claims and appeals for multiple clients.
  • Handling unprinted claims and ensuring timely processing.
  • Pulling client notes and charge information to support claim workflows.
  • Sorting, batching, and processing incoming and outgoing mail for a variety of healthcare clients.
  • Reviewing printed claims to confirm accuracy and completeness.
  • Documenting and tracking claim reprints or corrections.
  • Communicating with internal teams to support efficient claim processing.
  • Ensuring all tasks follow HIPAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Follow UnisLink’s vision and mission with regards to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and that all communications are handled in a manner consistent with compliance policies and actively comply with all UnisLink policies and procedures.
  • Promote UnisLink’s core values of Respect, Integrity, Customer Focus, and Continuous Improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

This role is a great way to learn the building blocks of the medical billing process and grow into more advanced roles over time.
