The Labs and Clearance Coordinator is responsible for clearing patients based on a standard and defined process to ensure the patient can safely undergo surgery. Assists patients in evaluating them for their appropriate surgical procedure(s) Reviews patient’s medical and health history to determine pre-admission testing Schedules appropriate medical and cardiac clearances Schedules patients for follow-up appointments and tests Coordinates with clinical staff to gather information for all patients Codes information from physicians about procedures performed Assesses no further testing or additional clearances are needed Other duties as assigned Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Internal and external customer service orientation Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High School Degree minimum Basic knowledge of medical terminology Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Mia Aesthetics is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
