JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate coding, and facilitating timely collections. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and maximize revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, DRG methodologies, and medical terminology is essential.
  • Experience with EMR and EHR systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is a plus.
