To put the patient's health and well-being first and promote women's health in all that we do.   We are seeking a detail-oriented, certified Medical Coder to join our billing team. In this role, you will review clinical documentation to assign accurate diagnostic and procedural codes specifically for obstetrics and gynecology services. You will play a vital role in optimizing reimbursements, minimizing claim denials, and ensuring strict compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations. This position requires working in office on-site during initial training.  After training, work 2-3 days a week in office on-site. Office hours are Monday – Thursday 7:45am – 5:00pm and Friday 7:45am – 12:00pm   Key Responsibilities * Translate clinical documentation into accurate codes for inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN procedures. * Analyze operative reports, delivery logs, and office visit notes to ensure full coding compliance. * Review and clear billing edits to proactively prevent insurance denials. * Collaborate directly with physicians and clinicians to clarify incomplete or ambiguous documentation. * Familiar with hospital coding such as surgeries, deliveries and rounding.  Also, familiar with clinic coding such as office visits, procedures and ultrasound. * Maintain strict patient confidentiality according to standard HIPAA regulations. Required Qualifications * Active medical coding certificate or Associates degree along with passing a national certification exam such as CPC or CCS * Minimum 2 years of medical coding experience. * Experience with OB/GYN-specific billing is preferred and willing to obtain OB/GYN specialty certificate within six months * Proficiency using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and billing software. “We're an equal opportunity employer.
