MEDICAL COLLECTOR

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Collector for our healthcare client located in South Los Angeles. This position will be 100% onsite and a full-time, contract opportunity helping to cover a leave.
This position will be focused on the backend of the revenue cycle, specifically patient and insurance collections. Interested candidates must feel comfortable with phone correspondence and must be able to work compassionately with others in order to get their account balances paid.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years medical billing/collections
• Must be proficient working within EMR Systems and Microsoft Office
• Bilingual English/Spanish desired, not required

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, especially phone etiquette
• Strong ability to work well independently and meet production metrics as outlined by management
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines as needed
• Accuracy and attention to detail

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
