Medical Courier Driver - Logistics Permanent Part-time Hawkes Bay Who we are | Ko wai mātou: Awanui Labs Hawkes Bay (previously known as Hawkes Bay SCL) provides high-quality diagnostic pathology services to the community, healthcare professionals, and their patients. Awanui Labs Hawkes Bay is owned by Awanui Group (Previously known as Asia Pacific Healthcare Group), a healthcare company committed to providing facilities and services that deliver exceptional care to its clients. About the role | Mō te tūranga: This is not a standard courier role. As the face of our service, you’ll need a friendly, approachable manner and the ability to maintain a positive attitude even under pressure. You must also be comfortable transporting human blood and other medical diagnostic samples. The position involves collecting diagnostic specimens from medical facilities around Hawkes Bay and delivering them to our Hastings laboratory. This is a permanent part-time role of 50 hours per fortnight, working Monday to Friday, with hours from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm. About you | He kōrero mōu To be successful in this role you need to have: A positive and friendly approach. A clean New Zealand Driver's Licence. Excellent customer service skills Including a high level of personal presentation. Sufficient physical fitness to lift and carry light loads in and out of your vehicle all day. Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow procedures accurately, even when under pressure. Respect for ensuring patient confidentiality. Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
