Description
NWOS is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team in a part-time, 24-hour-per-week role. This position is responsible for coordinating the credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging processes for all NWOS medical providers. The Credentialing Specialist will maintain accurate and up-to-date provider and facility information within credentialing databases and online systems, ensuring timely renewals of licenses, certifications, and other required credentials. This is NOT a remote position but has the potential to develop into a flexible, hybrid schedule.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all providers and NWOS locations. * Assists in provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitors applications and follows-up as needed. * Maintains knowledge of current health plan and payer requirements for credentialing providers and NWOS locations. * Uses online data management and application processes. * Sets up and maintains provider information in online credentialing databases and system. * Assists in tracking license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals. * Ensures practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies and other entities. * Assists in tracking license, DEA and professional liability expirations for appointed ASC providers. * Maintains ASC appointment files, and information in credentialing database. QUALIFICATIONS: * Previous credentialing experience * Experience in compliance, billing/coding office administration   * Medical office experience preferred WAGE RANGE:  $20.50 to $‎37.12 SHIFT: 3 days per week. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm OR 8:30- 5:00 pm  BENEFITS: NWOS offers a robust benefits package to our employees and their families.
