Utilizes Salesforce Billing & Payroll system to complete all data entry in preparation for payroll and billing processing. QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate. Computer literate for functions of data entry and basic word processing. Experience with an EMR or Salesforce a plus. RHIT certification a plus. Experience handling PHI, PII, and familiarity with HIPAA regulations. Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented and maintain high level of accuracy on all projects. Works well with others. Flexible with a positive and helpful attitude. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Open mail sent in from the field and sorts mail by billable versus non-billable documents. Transcribe all care notes received in the Salesforce Billing & Payroll system queue. Ensure accuracy through spot checks and scheduled audits. Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure accuracy of all medical data entry. Complete transcription for bi-weekly payroll deadlines and monthly billing deadlines. Minimal overtime when required to complete all medical data entry. Prepare care notes to be picked up by the scanning vendor for processing. Manage SharePoint archival site for medical records documentation. Other duties as assigned. The typical base pay range for this role is USD $35,360 - $52,000 per year. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
