#LI-DNI JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION Medical Delivery Specialist - Brand Ambassador COMPANY AND LOCATION Peritus Medical, Oshawa, ON EMPLOYMENT TYPE Permanent, full time HOURS WORKED 37.5 DEPARTMENT Delivery REPORTING TO Manager, Distribution DIRECT REPORTS No POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be a critical role in the Operations department, supporting the Manager, Distribution with facilitating client interactions and department communications. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Patient Deliveries & Inventory Distribution Picking up and dropping off deliveries to patients across the GTA within specified timeframes Completing deliveries to clinics and other team members according to a weekly schedule Acting as company brand ambassador while completing deliveries, consistently providing excellent customer service to patients and clients Safeguarding confidential patient and client information at all times Communicating professionally and in a collaborative manner with patients and other team members to provide or collect information regarding scheduled deliveries as necessary Ensuring correct number of pieces for each delivery are picked up and present at drop off (ie bags, boxes, Credo packages) Handling products appropriately and ensuring they are transported safely, securely, and within the required temperature range Maintaining awareness of proper cold chain procedures to be followed for temperature sensitive products Correctly preparing and using cold chain equipment to maintain suitable storage conditions in case of on- and off-site emergencies to preserve company assets (ie priming refrigerated or freezer Credos, using trackers to create accurate temperature logs) Sterile cleaning of certain products to keep free from bacteria; keeping clean for delivery Distributing inventory to various company locations across the GTA as required General labour tasks at company locations as assigned Performing delivery tasks to other locations within Ontario if necessary QUALIFICATIONS Valid G drivers license Clean abstract Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to always present themselves in a professional manner Good sense of geographical direction Hardworking, organized and a team player – must work cohesively with team members EDUCATION Completion of Post-secondary required SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and carry products up to 25-50 lbs.
