We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
Reporting to the Firmware Team Lead, we are looking for a dynamic Medical Device Firmware Developer. As a part of highly collaborative and technical team, you will develop innovative, user-friendly software features for our revolutionary Globe® Mapping and Ablation System.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
Working collaboratively with other firmware developers and electrical engineers, you will be implementing safety, sensing, and therapy delivery modules in C/C++. The platform includes C processes running on an embedded RTOS and interfacing directly to custom electronics on a current generation FPGA architecture.
Responsibilities:
- A love of coding, where through your 2 to 5 years of experience you have gained advanced embedded programming skills to leverage low-level hardware to create safety critical control and monitoring systems
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
- Proven ability to be a valued contributor in a diverse multidisciplinary team, and working in a disciplined development process
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed written and verbal technical communication skills
- The willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate
- Prior RTOS experience is an asse
