JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically savvy Medical Device Installer to handle the installation and setup of our medical devices across Leicester and the surrounding areas. The position will include installing our medical device in a patient’s home; establishing connections to Wi-Fi networks and performing functionality testing to ensure devices are working optimally. The role requires travel within Leicester and surrounding areas, so you will need to live within a commutable distance of this location and have a clean full driving licence. All necessary training will be provided.
This is an ad-hoc role; ideal to fit alongside your main job or other commitments. Work will vary week to week: some weeks may have several jobs, while others may have none.

Responsibilities
  • Install medical devices including cameras and controller units in patients’ homes
  • Connect devices to existing Wi-Fi networks and perform initial setup procedures
  • Test and troubleshoot devices to ensure they are fully operational
  • Provide basic training and instructions to users
  • Maintain accurate installation records and report any issues to the tech team
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations during installation and setup
  • Call patients whose devices are offline or having technical issues to troubleshoot
