Maples Surgical Centre, a division of Clearpoint Health Network is now recruiting for Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, Team Lead to Join Our Team

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Team Lead for our Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) and Procurement functions. This role is responsible for supervising MDR staff, ensuring compliance with sterilization standards, and optimizing workflows to support surgical operations. The Team Lead will also manage procurement of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring inventory aligns with surgical needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MDR professional with procurement experience who is ready to take on a leadership role and drive improvements in efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. This role reports to Nurse manager and Director of Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing program.
  • 2-3 years of experience in medical device reprocessing, ideally within an acute hospital or surgical environment.
  • 1-2 years of leadership or team management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of sterilization processes, infection control, and aseptic techniques.
  • Previous experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of interacting professionally with healthcare teams and vendors.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
