POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Medical Sales Representative responsible for promoting and selling medical products or equipment to healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies. This role combines sales skills with technical product knowledge to meet and exceed sales targets, and the ability to build and maintain robust relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, physicians, nurses, and administrators. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience with a strong preference for experience in medical device or healthcare sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clinical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment. Strong hunter mentality with a proven track record of closing sales.
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent time management, organizational, and able to work independently.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to adhere to a flexible Customer driven schedule, resolve emergency situations and willingness to answer phone call during off hours.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell medical devices within an assigned territory to physicians, surgeons, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals and performance targets in the assigned territory.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in clinics, surgical centers, private practices and hospitals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, market research and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Manage and prioritize daily sales activities, including scheduling meetings, follow-ups, and travel within the assigned territory.
  • Setup equipment at customer location and conduct training to educate customers on device usage.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and territory plans using our Advanced Pro software.
  • Act as the primary Customer point of contact for inquiries and resolving emergency situations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, healthcare regulations, and ethical sales practices.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers for competitive sourcing and costing alternatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including customer service and purchasing to support customer needs.
