Description

The Medical Device Sales Representative will drive revenue growth by developing and managing relationships with hospitals, surgical centers, and healthcare providers within an assigned territory. This role requires deep technical product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments while supporting clinical teams in delivering optimal patient care.

MARKET DEVELOPMENT & CUSTOMER EDUCATION

  • Identify and qualify new prospects within target market segments
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • Attend and represent the company at medical conferences, trade shows, and professional meetings
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of successful medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Proven track record of quota achievement and territory growth
  • Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in healthcare settings

TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Strong understanding of hospital systems, surgical procedures, and clinical workflows
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital sales tools
  • Ability to interpret clinical studies and present evidence-based value propositions

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory (up to 75%)
  • Physical capability to transport and demonstrate medical devices
  • Comfortable working in hospital and surgical environments
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend events
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
