POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Medical Director to oversee the clinical and regulatory operations of our growing practice. This leadership role is ideal for a physician passionate about holistic medicine, patient safety, and aesthetic innovation.
The Medical Director will provide clinical oversight alongside our management team, ensure compliance with BC College regulations, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD or NP with full licensure in British Columbia and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC); or Nurse College
  • Experience or strong interest in holistic medicine, functional medicine, or integrative health approaches.
  • Previous medical aesthetics experience and license (injectables, laser, skin treatments) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical compliance, patient safety, and BC healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to client-centered care.
  • Familiar with Jane APP software

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Responsible Medical Practitioner for the clinic in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide clinical oversight to registered nurses, naturopathic doctors, and other health practitioners.
  • Review and sign-off on injectable patient charts, and medical protocols.
  • Alongside our Aesthetics Manager Supervise and sign off on delegated medical aesthetic procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives.
  • Act as a clinical resource for complex cases, providing medical guidance and recommendations to 911 urgent cases.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving best practices, innovations, and regulations in integrative medicine and aesthetics.
  • Attend regular leadership meetings and collaborate with ownership to align clinical direction with business goals.
  • Work in collaboration with our CEO and COO on best clinical practices, and assist with MD sign off on medical ordering, and labs.
