QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed MD/DO, PA, or NP in the state of California (or ability to obtain license).
  • Training or experience in musculoskeletal medicine, pain management, or sports medicine strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with regenerative procedures (PRP, stem cell therapies, hydro-dissections) preferred, but training may be available for the right candidate.
  • Strong diagnostic and procedural skills with an emphasis on non-surgical, non-steroid approaches.
  • Passion for preventative medicine and patient education.
  • Ability to conduct thorough physical examinations
  • Experience in prescribing medications and developing effective treatment plans
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in patient education and preventive healthcare practices
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Experience in fitness and rehabilitation settings is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full/Part-time on-site role for a Medical Professional at Santa Cruz CORE Fitness + Rehab, located in Santa Cruz, CA. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician (MD/DO), Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with experience or strong interest in regenerative medicine. The ideal candidate is passionate about non-surgical pain relief, patient-centered care, and advancing innovative treatments that restore function and improve quality of life. The Medical practitioner will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, conducting physical exams, prescribing medication, and developing treatment plans. Additional duties include coordinating with other healthcare professionals, maintaining patient records, and promoting overall wellness. The Physician (MD/DO), Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will also provide patient education and support preventive healthcare practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform comprehensive orthopedic and musculoskeletal evaluations.
  • Deliver regenerative medicine procedures, including (but not limited to):
  • PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections
  • Stem cell joint injections
  • Nerve hydro-dissections
  • Non-steroid joint injections
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on preventative and functional care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, nutritionists, and trainers) to support whole-body healing.
  • Educate patients on regenerative and preventative medicine options.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
  • Stay current with advancements in regenerative and orthopedic medicine.
