OMNI Neurological, Orthopedic & Spine Center is a multi-specialty practice of board-certified, experienced, and recognized surgeons. We provide neurological and traumatic brain injury (TBI) evaluations, minimally invasive cervical and lumbar procedures as well as more complex spine and orthopedic surgeries.
We serve Florida with locations in Miami, Plantation, and Orlando.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Documentation Specialist & Proofer to join our healthcare documentation team. This role primarily involves proofreading medical documentation for accuracy, clarity, and proper medical terminology, while utilizing macro systems within the EMR for efficient editing. You’ll also transfer AI dictations to the EMR system. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high-quality patient records and supporting clinical operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with medical terminology and anatomy
  • Proficiency with computers and programs, especially for navigation through EMR systems.
  • Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and Word files.
  • Typing speed of 60+ words per minute with high accuracy
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills
