The post holder is vital to the management and support of the medical e-Rostering function across LGT. The role requires great leadership, project management and change management expertise to deliver a robust medical e-Rostering service in accordance with best practice. The role also includes the development of a robust e-Rostering business as usual (BAU) - function to support the medical staff within the Trust and will be crucial to lead the BAU functions.

You will lead in the design and successful delivery of the medical element of the eRostering Programme and provide effective leadership for the medical e-Rostering team to effectively deliver electronic rostering for the medical staff.
The postholder will create and maintain stakeholder relationships, internally and externally, communicating on multiple levels across the organisation and providing leadership to the e-Rostering medical team.
The post holder has responsibility for driving forward continuous improvement of the Optima system and maintenance of the electronic rostering (e-Rostering) system for Medics in association with business requirements across the Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for reporting any systems issues to the software provider. Also, to support users at all levels and make recommendations to remedy situations as they arise.
The role has responsibility and oversight for ensuring a customer focused support to Optima system (health roster) users, providing advice, instruction and training on e-Roster systems in regard to system functionality and Trust policy.

Manage the overall delivery of good rostering practices and ensure that the rosters for medics meets service needs. Where there are changes to budgets identified, reporting findings in partnership with the division, HR and Finance to identify issues/ differences, propose solutions and, where necessary, apply local adaptations to meet the need of the users across the Trust
Work across the system to deliver support and understand the inter-dependencies between finance, Workforce team and payroll systems and the impacts before changes to rosters are made.
