From the document: “The Medical Equipment Planner shall be relied upon to independently create and execute appropriate equipment planning services… including overseeing and assisting with major project activations, equipment planning, specifying, budgeting, preparing solicitation packages for equipment purchases.” Key Responsibilities · • Analyze architectural drawings, equipment schedules, and infrastructure requirements. · • Conduct equipment inventory audits and prepare reuse analysis reports. · • Coordinate with engineering, architecture, IT, biomedical, and activation teams. · • Prepare procurement packages (SOWs, specifications, IGCEs, budgets). · • Track procurement status, delivery, and installation schedules. · • Maintain digital resource libraries and documentation. · • Provide training to clinical staff and coordinate with Biomedical and Logistics. · • Ensure compliance with NFPA, FDA, NRC, AAMI, TJC, and VA standards. Minimum Qualifications · • Knowledge of medical technology and equipment standards. · • Ability to write equipment specifications and SOWs. · • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications. · • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. · • Preferred: AutoCAD, MS Project. · • Strong communication skills.
