Description Medical Esthetician & Cosmetic Receptionist Hudson and Job Summary: Tareen Dermatology is hiring a Medical Esthetician & Cosmetic Receptionist to support our Cosmetic Liaison team while delivering high-quality patient care. This role will work partially as an Esthetician at our Hudson clinic and the other half of their week as a Cosmetic Receptionist at our Roseville clinic while building an esthetics clientele. Occasional travel to Maplewood may be required based on patient volume and clinic needs. In the esthetician role, this position performs non-invasive cosmetic treatments—including laser hair removal, CO2 laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, tattoo removal, and assisting with Botox, Dysport, and filler—while adhering to all treatment protocols, scope of practice, and organizational standards. This position would be scheduled approximately 30-32 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Qualifications - Medical Esthetician & Cosmetic Receptionist Required: Wisconsin AP Esthetician License (or active out-of-state AP license with ability to obtain WI licensure within 6 months). 1 year of experience in the esthetics industry 1-2 years of customer service experience Preferred: Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems Experience assisting with or supporting injectable services workflows (Botox®, Dysport®, fillers) Esthetician Responsibilities: Establish and maintain rapport with clients to ensure overall satisfaction of clients. Evaluate client’s suitability for all available services/treatments and perform treatments. Pursue opportunities to educate clients on additional services. Educate clients on all treatment processes including pre- and post-treatment care guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of treatment rooms between each client. Accurately and timely charting in our EHR system-EMA. Sustain proficiency through continuous education and trainings. Collaborate with leadership teams to achieve company goals. Follow HIPAA and OSHA policies. All other duties as assigned. Cosmetic Scheduler Responsibilities: Scheduling Cosmetic patient visits. Answer patient questions regarding pricing, post-care, and general business information questions. Performing POS and checking out patients for products, services, and other items. Enrolling patients in membership plans Responsible for basic product and service knowledge. Staffing Cosmetic events (estimated one per quarter.) Filing of patient paperwork in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Greets and checks in patients at their scheduled visits, registers demographic information and processes payment plans and copays. Providing general support to the Cosmetic Department and estheticians. Answering phone calls from current and prospective patients. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed primarily in a clinical setting, with occasional travel between clinic locations. This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic for most of the workday. Frequent use of hands and arms for patient care, equipment handling, and documentation. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
