Job Description
The Medical Excellence and Operations Manager (secondment) is responsible for driving both excellence and operational efficiency in Medical Affairs activities in Australia and New Zealand. This includes implementing innovative customer engagement solutions and aligning medical operations to ensure a high-performing team. The role will serve as a key partner to multiple internal stakeholders, offering subject matter expertise and strategic support in both medical excellence and operational activities.

NOTE: This is a 12 month Max Term Contract.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical or Bachelor degree in a scientific discipline or higher.
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and general knowledge on drug development and clinical research an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and experience in developing and implementing strong communication and engagement plans.
- Demonstrated strategic ability in leadership roles.
- Experience working in the field with HCPs with a high customer orientation.
- Expertise in CRM systems, platforms and methodologies and production of associated reports.
- Proven facilitation skills and experience guiding and leading teams of peers, superiors, and wider brand teams without authority
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to develop and support relationships across an organisation as well as with key external stakeholders and the healthcare community at large.
- Experience being an active contributor to cross-functional teams and/or working in matrix organisations will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing Medical Affairs and ability to implement and guide capability and the design of protocols with limited oversight.
