Description
  As an Admissions Coordinator, you will greet patients for their health care visit and shepherd them through from first impression to on their way to treatment.    Essential Functions of the Role:  * Creates a positive first impression and experience for arriving patients * Complete and audit new admission paperwork for patient demographic, medical history, and insurance details relevant to referral acceptance. * Accurately enter new patient’s data in EMR record. * Utilize EMR and other software to collect patient time of service payments * Coordinate with scheduling staff to make follow up appointments or facilitate appointment scheduling if necessary * Answers phones and completes associated clerical tasks as needed. Minimum Qualifications:  * Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Admissions Coordinator or a comparable position required. * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Ability to travel to local practices Desired Qualifications:  * 2+ years in a clinical practice environment * Experience in Cardiac Healthcare  * Experience with EMR Physical Requirements  This position requires full range of body motion.
