Responsibilities: Check-in patients or greet customers in a friendly, professional manner. Obtain complete registration from the patient Prepare the encounter, verifying insurance referral and/or prior authorizations are valid and print the medication lists. Enter electronic messages to other departments to assist with patient flow and document patient wait times. Assist the Billing Department with collecting co-pays and patient balances. Provide the billing department with a clear copy of insurance cards and current demographic information.
