This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

• Independently performs 24 and 48 hour ambulatory electrocardiography, (ex. a Holter device) and event monitor scanning.
• Operates and monitors electrocardiographic equipment to perform specialized examinations and studies involving stress testing (with physician) and ambulatory monitoring of arrhythmias.
• Monitors tracings to identify arrhythmias and when gross abnormalities appear, when to repeat certain procedures, when to stop test procedure and when to get the immediate attention of a physician.
• Evaluates test results to determine appropriate machine adjustments.
• Performs routine ECGs and prepares and educates patients for stress testing, ambulatory ECG and ZIO-patch recorders.
