Education: One and a half years of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Radiologic Technology or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total semester hours minus 18) by 9. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.

Help

• Perform a wide variety of complex Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations of the head, spine, extremities, and body cavity.
• Independently perform complex computerized 2D and 3D MRI scanning of the head and/or body.
• Receive and review requests from physicians and other health care providers for MRI examinations of patients.
• Train Radiologists, Physicians, and other personnel in MRI principles, procedures, capabilities, techniques, and equipment.
• Perform operator level maintenance and care of equipment.
• Adhere to the standards of Quality Control as directed by the MRI SOP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
