The Position The Medical Intern will assist and support the POD’s and Medical Enabler’s with various aspects of medical affairs, gaining vital practical experience. Main tasks and responsibilities: As a medical intern in the pharmaceutical industry, your scope of work may include: Landscaping and TAE Mapping: Assist the Medical Enablers in Pre-Launch Landscaping activities and identification of Key stakeholders in the relevant therapeutic area Epidemiological research in different Therapeutic area for local affiliate Assist in creating medical content, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and local SOP’s Medical Event Coordination: Provide support in the coordination of Medical activities Medical Strategy Development: Independent disease and product learning to facilitate engagement Build on PODs medical knowledge through training of the PODs and cross functional teams Medical Information: Learn and understand the principle of provision of Medical Information in accordance with Roche standards and SOP’s Customer Engagement: Provide medical support to primary points of contact e.g. PJPs and HSP to gain an understanding of the needs of external stakeholders Required experience and skills: Minimum of NQF6 in Life Sciences Must-Have Knowledge: Scientific principles Digital capability and efficiency Recommended Skills: Achieving results Demonstrate Technical and Business expertise Show the importance of Accountability Communication written and verbal Planning, organising and prioritization Demonstrate an understanding of Strategic agility Self-management Willingness to learn Physical requirements Ability to Travel locally and internationally Who we are A healthier future drives us to innovate.
