Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist MLT/CLS (Contract) Location: Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center, Indian Health Services Address: 100 Lake Traverse Drive, Sisseton, South Dakota 57262 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Government Contract (up to 1 year, with potential extensions) Facility Type: Outpatient Clinic – Indian Health Service (IHS) Schedule and Compensation: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Weekends 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm 8-hour shifts, 40 hours a week Competitive pay and benefits Up to 1-year contract with possible extension Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Holiday Pay Work Hours: Monday–Friday: 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM – 8:30 PM Weekends: 5-hour shifts, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM as scheduled Holidays: Scheduled as needed; additional time off may be provided during the week Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, serology, and phlebotomy Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers Run quality control procedures and ensure compliance with lab standards Accurately interpret and report test results using sound professional judgment Document and maintain lab records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Provide timely support to medical providers by ensuring reliable laboratory data Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment and follow all safety protocols Additional Duties: Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time.
