Description

Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a part-time Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to work in our Laboratory/Chemo ID Department. Candidates interviewed for this role will be asked to present proof of required degrees, certificates and/or certifications at the time of the interview. Candidates unwilling or unable to provide said documentation will not be considered. Qualifications * Associates Degree * High School diploma and the appropriate education and training as specified by CLIA 1988 regulations. * Registered as MT or MLT or eligible. Must successfully complete the MT or MLT certification within one year of employment at Cabell Huntington Hospital. * WV State licensure as Clinical Laboratory Practitioner.

Responsibilities

The Medical Lab Tech/Med Tech will work in the Laboratory/Chemo ID Department. Responsibilities include performing laboratory tests and ensuring compliance with regulations.
