Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team! The Medical Lab Technician works as a generalist in all areas of the laboratory which include but not limited to, Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and specimen processing. Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform phlebotomy when required. Collects and processes laboratory specimens as ordered by clinic provider staff Performs Quality Control (QC) procedures on laboratory equipment according to clinic and manufacturer standards, policies and procedures Logs incoming and outgoing lab results; maintains and retains records as required Evaluates post analytical tests results, distributes test results appropriately and reports test results to medical staff as required Assists in maintenance of lab supplies to ensure adequate supply is available. Notifies lab director of low stock. Processes orders of lab supplies on a monthly basis Performs maintenance on instruments as required by manufacturer Performs required quarterly proficiency testing Performs duties of laboratory director when absent The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is a non-profit organization and not federal employment.
