Temporary Full-Time
Medical Laboratory
Technologist (MLT)
We are currently looking for a Temporary Full-
Time Medical Laboratory Technologist. The
successful candidate will interact with
patients and other health care workers to
ensure that the needs of the patient are met
in a caring and professional manner and will
provide laboratory services in accordance
with the Policies and Procedures of the
Laboratory Department.
The successful candidate will foster and
support a team environment to ensure the
attainment of our organization objectives
and will act as a role model for all staff and
promote the reputation of the facility in the
community.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the

following:

• Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory

Technologist program is preferred

• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory

Technologist is considered an asset

• Prior related hospital experience is an

asset

• Certification in Transportation of

Dangerous Goods (TDG) is considered an

asset

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to

communicate effectively with other staff,

patients and the public

• Strong computer skills
• Ability to provide regular attendance
• Bilingualism in French and English is an

asset

Benefits:

• $36.841 to $50.276 per hour

depending on experience

• 14% paid in lieu of benefits
• 6% paid in lieu of vacation
